Tax, accounting and regulatory outcomes depend on individual facts and may change when legislation, SARS publications, administrative practice or other relevant rules change.

04 · Professional engagement

No professional engagement is created by website use

Accessing this website, downloading a publication, using the tax calculator or sending an enquiry does not by itself create an accountant-client, tax-practitioner-client, adviser-client or other professional engagement.

A professional engagement begins only when Mambodla has accepted the work and the parties have agreed the applicable scope, responsibilities, fees and any required engagement documentation.

Website enquiries are invitations to discuss possible services; they are not automatic acceptance of work or binding quotations.

Tax Guide, articles and tax calculator

The Mambodla Tax Guide, tax articles and online tax calculator are practical reference resources.

Actual tax outcomes may differ because of deductions, allowances, fringe benefits, capital gains, lump sums, provisional tax, PAYE, medical circumstances, residency, rebates, credits, legislative changes or other taxpayer-specific matters that the calculator does not model.

Users remain responsible for checking the suitability of information for their circumstances and obtaining professional assistance where appropriate.
